It should also serve Black players since the authors often discuss several alternatives to the main lines. The focus is on the modern variations 1.c4 e5 2.Nc3 Nf6 3.Nf3 Nc6 4.e3 and 4.d3. In the last five years they have brought 56% and 58% respectively. The book goes beyond a straightforward repertoire, and covers different approaches. Thus it should serve players with both colours.
